Concordia extended its winning streak against SMU to seven straight, scoring single goals in each half en route to a 2-0 MIAC win over the Cardinals in the teams' regular-season meeting a year ago. … The Cardinals pushed their unbeaten streak to four straight, as Lisa Tlougan (Rochester, Minn.) netted her seventh goal of the season six minutes into overtime, as SMU slipped past Gustavus 2-1 Wednesday. … Concordia, meanwhile, dominated Hamline from start to finish Wednesday, outshooting the Pipers 32-5 and getting scoring from five different players in a 5-0 victory.

The Cardinals extended their unbeaten streak to four (3-0-1) with their OT win vs. Gustavus. … Wednesday’s contest was the Cardinals’ second straight overtime game. … Lisa Tlougan (Rochester, Minn.), who has now netted two-game winning goals, has scored a goal in seven of SMU’s 10 games. … Tlougan shares the team’s goal-scoring lead (7) with Melisa Entinger (Mound, Minn.). … Entinger leads the team in points (15) and is one of five SMU players with 10 or more points. … Tlougan’s three goals in four conference games rank her second in the MIAC, while her six points are No. 3. … The Cardinals have scored 19 goals in each half en route to their 39 goals. … SMU’s 39 goals are the most since the Cardinals netted 42 during the 1999 season. … SMU’s defense, meanwhile, has allowed just six goals in 10 games. … After going eight games without giving up a second-half goal, both of SMU’s opponents’ goals in the last two games have come in the second half. … Wednesday’s win improved the Cardinals’ home record to 2-0-1.

The Cobbers’ 5-0 win vs. Hamline Wednesday — in which five different players scored goals — was their sixth shutout of the season. … Concordia is currently ranked seventh in the latest NSCAA Central Region poll, which is the highest the Cobbers have ever been ranked in the regional rankings. … The Cobbers have not allowed a goal in conference play. They are the only team in the MIAC that has not conceded a goal in the league. Concordia has also posted five shutouts in its past six games — with the only goal allowed coming at the hands of sixth-ranked UW-Eau Claire in the final minute of double overtime. All told, the Cobbers have only allowed three goals and have a 0.32 goals-against-average in their first nine games. … Concordia goalie Britt Reiersgord is currently tied for the lead in the MIAC in shutouts (5) and is second in goals-against- average (0.25) and save percentage (.935). … Cobber senior forward Morgan Bain remains 15 points shy of breaking the school's all-time scoring record of 137 held by Angela Tohm ('96). Bain currently has nine points this season and 123 for her three-plus season career.
