WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University women's hockey team hopped on the back of Nikki Jung (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) and rode the sophomore goalie to a 3-0 victory over UW-Eau Claire Saturday afternoon.

And Jung's 31-save effort not only helped the Cardinals snap a two-game losing streak, but it also earned her Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors.
Jung, who stopped all 30 shots she faced in a period and a half of relief in the teams' first meeting on Jan. 7, has now kicked out 61 straight shots vs. the Blugolds this season.
The sophomore, who has started 13 of the Cardinals' 17 games this season, boasts a 2.71 goals-against-average and a .920 save percentage.
