A Year Ago: The Cardinals closed out the regular season a year ago by outscoring Hamline 13-0 in sweeping the Pipers. Emily Babcock scored two goals and Amanda Gage stopped all 13 shots she faced in SMU's 8-0 win on Feb. 25, 2004. The Cardinals then completed the sweep, getting a pair of goals from Emily Kearns, and a five-save effort from Nikki Jung, in a 5-0 win on Feb. 26, 2004.

This and That: The Cardinals' loss to UW-Eau Claire last Friday was their second straight shutout loss, and the third time this season that SMU has been held without a goal.
