Last Action: The Cardinals scored three third-period goals to rally from a 2-1 deficit and beat St. Olaf 4-2 last Saturday, earning a split in the teams two-game series. St. Olaf had won the opener, 3-1.
Augsburg, meanwhile, saw its losing streak climb to five straight with back-to-back losses (2-0, 5-3) to St. Thomas last weekend.

A Year Ago: SMU and Augsburg split their regular-season season, with SMU Emily Kearns scoring three goals and assisting on two others in the Cardinals' 5-2 win on Jan. 23, 2004. Augsburg rebounded with a 2-1 win the following night, then won the rubber match, beating SMU 2-1 in the opening round of the MIAC postseason tournament on March 2, 2004.

This and That: With four games left to play, SMU is one point behind the Auggies for fourth place in the MIAC standings and one point in front of St. Benedict for the fifth and final MIAC playoff spot.
Rachel Harrison (Madison, Wis.) scored the first goal in both of SMU's games vs. the Oles last weekend.
The Cardinals one-goal outing vs. St. Olaf on Friday marked the 12th time this season that SMU has been held to one goal or less. SMU is 0-11-1 in those 12 games.

SMU outshot St. Olaf 16-2 in the first period of Saturday's game, then was outshot 16-2 in the second period.
