Jacqui Ripoli

Year: Senior

Pos.: Guard

Hometown: Belvidere, Ill.

From Coach Stimmel: “Jacqui is a great person to have in our program. Even though she hasn’t seen a lot of playing time, she works hard, pushes the other players in practice and is fun to work with.”

Scot Notes
Elise Pagel set a Macalester freshman scoring record last winter with a 15.5 ppg. average and was the team’s leader in all but two games. With the addition of a solid recruiting class, she is not being asked to score as much, but still needs to break out a slump which has her shooting at a 17% clip while scoring just 6.3 per game.… Freshmen Ann Baltzer and Danielle Johnson are off to good starts in their collegiate careers. Baltzer leads Macalester with averages of 13.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, while shooting 59 percent from the field. Johnson averages 10.3 points and 4.5 rebounds, and has accounted for seven of the team’s eight three-pointers. Johnson leads the team with 16 steals in four games. … All-MIAC and all-region cross country standout Callie PaStarr contributes 8.0 ppg. and leads the team with 14 assists. … The Scots will rely on defense to stay in games. Last week at Gustavus, the Scots trailed 12-11 at halftime.
