Wednesday’s loss to Macalester was the Cardinals’ second straight and fourth in their last five games. … SMU managed just 14 points in the first half against the Scots, marking the second-lowest output in a half and the eighth time this season that the Cardinals have scored 20 or few points in a half. … SMU has held its opponents to 65 points or less in each of their last seven games — going 2-5. … The Cardinals have been held to 56 points or less in all 11 of their losses. … Jessica Weisbrod (Rollingstone, Minn.) netted a team-best 13 points vs. Macalester.
