Bri Monahan and Jess Vadnais have been the Gusties’ 1-2 scoring punch all season, and Wednesday vs. St. Catherine was no different as the two combined to score 49 of GAC’s 64 points. Monahan finished with a season-high 29 points, while Vadnais chipped in 20. … Vadnais boasts a team-leading 18.1 scoring average, while Monahan is close behind at 17.6 ppg. … Sixteen of Vadnais’ 43 field goals have come from beyond the 3-point line. … Along with her 17.6 scoring average, Monahan also leads the team in rebounding, averaging 6.4 rpg. … The Gusties opened the season with six straight wins holding their opponents to less than 50 points in four of those six games. … St. Benedict held GAC to a season-low 52 points in handing the Gusties their lone loss, 67-52, on Dec. 6.
