All-MIAC
WINONA, Minn. — All season long, Jessica Weisbrod (Rollingstone, Minn.) was a force on the offensive boards for the Saint Mary's University women's basketball team.

In fact, Weisbrod was not only the best offensive rebounder on the Cardinal squad, but the SMU junior was the best offensive rebounder in the entire Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

And on Thursday, Weisbrod was again honored among the conference's best, earning First Team All-MIAC honors for the first time in her career.

Weisbrod averaged a team-best 13.2 points per game and 7.6 rebounds per game in leading SMU to a 5-16 MIAC record. The Cardinal junior recorded six double-doubles in SMU's 21 MIAC games, while also boasting career highs of 24 points against Gustavus and 15 rebounds vs. Carleton. Weisbrod finished with 159 rebounds, including a conference-best 69 offensive boards (3.05 orpg).

Danielle Dehning (Spring Grove, Minn.), meanwhile, was the Cardinals' selection to the All-MIAC Sportsmanship Team. As part of a conference-wide sportsmanship initiative, members of the All-MIAC Sportsmanship team are selected by their coaches and teammates as individuals who demonstrate ideals of positive sportsmanship both on and off the field of competition.
