Molli Bids Farewell
I never thought writing my Senior Salute would be such a challenge. There are so many people I need to thank for making the past four years an experience I will never forget. I can’t imagine my life without volleyball. For one, volleyball has always relieved my stress, whenever I was frustrated I could come to practice and forget about everything else for at least two hours. More importantly, I have learned the value of relationships. I value all my teammates and the relationships we were able to form in working together as a team.

To my parents: Mom and Dad, you guys have done so much for me. Thank you for all your support at games and in daily life. The hours you have put in to drive to almost every game is unbelievable. I don’t think I would have made it through every game without your “secret” cookies. I am extremely blessed to have your support!

To my teammates: I wish I could personally thank everyone past and present because each and every one of you were special to this team. Jess V — thanks for being my pepper partner, I will never forget your special “pre-game” routine. Kaylene — thanks for being an awesome co-captain, I know your dancing skills will help you find that special man someday! Flashley — your digging skills have always amazed me. Never forget the mountain dew during your study sessions! Wendy — it’s been a privilege playing front row with you, I don’t think I’ll ever meet anyone that can reenact the Little Mermaid as well as you! Go Big Red! T, Carol, Kelsi — I wish you girls the best of luck in your careers. I know all three of you will be great leaders in the seasons to come. Keep up the hard work! Court, Pam, Bre, Jess, Ann, Michelle and Kelli — thanks for all your hard work this season, I wish you girls the best in your years to come. Hard work in the off season always shows in season!

To all my coaches: Starting with Coach Rotta and Tom, who worked with me countless hours to make me a better player. I would not be the player I am today without you two. Thank you for all the gifts and support you’ve given me. Coach Lester, thank you for pushing us to be better players and working through the ups and downs we’ve encountered. I was always enlightened by your pep talks! Rick, thanks for keeping us on our toes and acting like kid, there was never a dull moment with you. Kristin, it’s nice to have a perspective from someone who has been in our shoes. Thanks for all your hard work and your sincere care for each and every one of us.

Finally, I want to thank everyone that has worked at our games and all the fans that support us.
