Cardinals' Molli Dant named First Team All-MIAC

WINONA, Minn. — Molli Dant (Forest City, Iowa) wrote the final chapter of her collegiate volleyball playing career with a 19-kill, 21-dig effort in a 3-1 loss to Gustavus last Wednesday.

On Wednesday, Dant wrote the epilogue, as the Saint Mary's University senior was named to the All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference First Team.

A four-year letterwinner — and the Cardinals' single-season attack attempts leader (1,245) — Dant ranked seventh in the MIAC in kills-per-game, totalling a team-best 4.14.

Dant, who appeared in 36 conference games, collected 149 kills, while also adding 13 service aces, 136 digs and eight blocks.
