Mollie Melton Sr. • MH	Saint Mary’s volleyball has made the past four years four of the greatest and most memorable years of my life. It is amazing how fast these four years have gone by. I find it hard to believe that it is coming to an end. Hi girls. I definitely need to start my salute by saying you have made SMU volleyball incredible. So, for that, I want to say thank you to each of you. Since my freshman year, the friendships that I have made through volleyball are ones that I will always treasure. To four of the greatest roomies ever, Kirst, Trace, Kates, and Rivs, you are the best. KRoZ, you have been the best pepper partner ever — and roommate and friend since freshman year, when we merged to be roommates. Thanks for all of the laughs, crazy kroz the rapper times, encouragement and just being a friend. TK, you are great. I know you had the best 21st birthday ever. I am glad we have become attached at the hip. Kates, “Say hike.” I remember thinking, who is this girl? If only I knew then how great of a friend you would be. Rivs, Muuuwarooo. You know what I’m saying … chalk one up for us on the side. Kirst, Tess, Dingels, thanks for being such dedicated and talented leaders that raised the bar for the rest of us. Des, you made me think about how thankful I am for the silliest, smallest things that volleyball has given me. Why else would I have been tattooing your poofy, sore volleyball knees with marker after a tough match!? To all of the returning players, I’m thankful that the love of the game has brought us all together to become teammates and friends. Everyone has played an awesome role in our success. Thank you for all of the hard work, dedication, and especially the laughs that have made volleyball fun. I can’t wait to hear about the success that I know you will continue to have! Each of you has a huge place in many of the greatest memories that I will take with me from Saint Mary’s University. My knowledge and love for the game have grown through Saint Mary’s volleyball. Coach Lester, thank you for making me interested in Saint Mary’s through volleyball. If it hadn’t been for camp, I would not be here, and would have missed out on more than I could imagine. Thank you for all that you have taught me as a volleyball player and person. Jamie and Jackie, you are both an awesome addition to Saint Mary’s volleyball. Your enthusiasm and encouragement is essential to our success. Roof, thank you for all of your crazy energy and ongoing support! Corey, thank you for being you. I can’t forget to thank the super-fans, professors and some professors who are super-fans. Thank you for the continuous encouragement, support, and hugs. And, most importantly, thank you for everything, Mom and Dad!!! I am grateful for all that you do for me. Thank you for the late nights of volleyball. Dad you are a wonderful setter, and Mom, you are the best ball shagger. Thank you for the support, encouragement and for giving me the opportunity to be here. Meggesha, thanks for “bumping” with me back in the day when I was really out of control — and for just being my best friend. I am blessed to have you as my family. I love you.
