Last Action: The Cardinals are coming off a 2-2 performance at the UW-La Crosse Invitational falling to UW-L in five, sweeping Buena Vista and Loras, and losing to St. Olaf, 3-1.
Gustavus, meanwhile, ran its winning streak to four straight with a 3-1 victory over Hamline last Wednesday.

The Cardinals' 3-0 loss to Carleton last Wednesday and 3-2 loss to UW-La Crosse last Friday marked just the second time this season SMU had lost back-to-back games.
Seven of SMU's eight losses this season have acome against teams ranked in the AVCA Top 25.
Ashley Dingels (Gibbon, Minn.), who collected 18 kills vs. Carleton and 23 vs. UW-La Crosse, had her streak of 10 or more kills snapped at 11 when she was held to nine vs. Buena Vista.
After winning their first three five-game matches this season, SMU has lost three of its last four that have gone the maximum five games.
SMU's 21 wins which include seven at home, seven on the road, and seven at neutral sites equals its win total of a year ago, and is the most since the Cardinals went 27-8 and qualified for the NCAA Tournament in 2000.
Stacy Pearce (Blaine, Minn.) dished out a career-high 42 assists in SMU's 3-1 loss to St. Olaf in the team's final match of the UW-L tournament.
