Liss, O'Hearn lead the charger as Cardinals place 10th at Tommie Twilight
ST. PAUL, Minn. Amber Liss (Onalaska, Wis.) broke the school record in the 400 and Colleen O'Hearn (Champlin, Minn.) posted a pair of fourth-place finishes as the Saint Mary's University women's track team placed 10th at the Tommie Twlight Wednesday evening.
Liss clocked a time 1:00.42 to break her old mark of 1:00.74 and finish third. O'Hearn, meanwhile, used throws of 38-2 in the shot put and 114-10 in the discus to place fourth in each event, while also adding a ninth-place finish in the javelin with a toss of 85-8.
SMU's only other participants at the event, Renee Willkom (Cadott, Wis.) and Theresa Miller (New Berlin, Wis.) chipped in 14th- and 23rd-place efforts in the 800 with times of 2:27.43 and 2:33.60, respectively. |
