Liss, O'Hearn lead the charger as Cardinals place 10th at Tommie Twilight

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Amber Liss (Onalaska, Wis.) broke the school record in the 400 and Colleen O'Hearn (Champlin, Minn.) posted a pair of fourth-place finishes as the Saint Mary's University women's track team placed 10th at the Tommie Twlight Wednesday evening.

Liss clocked a time 1:00.42 to break her old mark of 1:00.74 and finish third. O'Hearn, meanwhile, used throws of 38-2 in the shot put and 114-10 in the discus to place fourth in each event, while also adding a ninth-place finish in the javelin with a toss of 85-8.

SMU's only other participants at the event, Renee Willkom (Cadott, Wis.) and Theresa Miller (New Berlin, Wis.) chipped in 14th- and 23rd-place efforts in the 800 with times of 2:27.43 and 2:33.60, respectively.
