Tera Bids Farewell
It is hard to believe that I will never anticipate coming to practice or standing at the start-line of a collegiate track race again. It will be difficult to leave a sport that I have been a part of since seventh grade, but I am ending on a good note. Yes, it is cliché, but running at Saint Mary’s is an experience I will never forget. I have learned more about who I am through my running than I ever could have imagined.

Congratulations to all of my senior track teammates and good luck in everything you do. Give me a call if you want to run a road race!

Thank you to all of my teammates for the memories. As much as track is an individual sport, my experience would not have been possible without your support and enthusiasm.

Thank you Ward, Brett, and Kirk for your support and patience and for helping me grow as a runner. Even though you will no longer be my coaches, you have taught me lessons I will take with me far beyond my Saint Mary’s experience. Running is a life-time sport and although my collegiate track experience is over, I am not done running.

Thank you to my parents, my roommates, and my professors for all of your encouragement.

Good luck to all my teammates who will be returning next year and be sure to make the best out of the rest of your years at SMU.
