NORTHFIELD, Minn. — Todd Yankowski (Chicago, Ill.) led the Saint Mary's University men's track and field team's charge at the regular season-ending Meet of the Saints Saturday afternoon, posting a third-place showing in the javelin.

Yankowski finished with a toss of 44.34 meters for his third-place finish, while Eric Habberstad (Blooming Prairie, Minn.) chipped in a seventh-place time of 17.90 in the 110 high hurdles. Habberstad's performance in the hurdles was just the start of a busy day for the SMU freshman, who also placed ninth in the pole vault (3.22 meters) , 13th in the long jump (5.68 meters) and 16th in the 100 (12.33).

B.J. Klenke (Jordan, Minn.) was seventh in the 800 (1:59.56), while Dan Hertzner (Ottawa, Ill.) was 12th in the 100 (11.57) and 14th in the 200 (22.97).
