WINONA, Minn. — Last Friday, Saint Mary's University's Mark Leeder (Greenfield, Wis.) earned one of the most prestigious honors in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's tennis, when the SMU senior was presented with the Arthur Ashe Award — awarded to a senior player who has demonstrated sportsmanship, high academic performance, tennis achievement and humanitarian concern.

Tuesday, Leeder was once again in the MIAC spotlight — only this time, he wasn't alone.

Leeder and teammate Tyler Stevenson (Neenah, Wis.) were named to the All-MIAC team at No. 1 doubles, while Stevenson also earned all-conference honors at No. 1 singles.

Leeder-Stevenson represented SMU at No. 1 doubles in all nine conference matches, posting a 6-3 mark, with the lone losses coming to doubles teams from Gustavus, Carleton and St. John's — all of which also earned All-MIAC honors at No. 1 doubles.

Stevenson, meanwhile, posted a 6-3 record at No. 1 singles, including losses to fellow all-conference performers Tut Fuller of St. Thomas (6-4, 6-4) and Ben Lundell of Gustavus (6-0, 6-0).
