MIAC Male Swimmer of the Week
WINONA, Minn. — Saint Mary's University diver Erik Oksnevad (Blaine, Minn.) was named MIAC Male Swimmer of the Week, it was announced Tuesday.
On Jan. 11, Oksnevad posted national qualifying scores for the third time this season, posting 443.40 points in the one-meter diving competition against St. Olaf. Oksnevad's most impressive dive was a Forward 2 1/2 summersault in the tuck position with a degree of difficulty of 2.4. Judges' scores on the dive were 8, 7.5, and 7.5, helping fuel Oksnevad to the first-place finish.
