The Cardinals' 25 wins mark the 12th straight season in which SMU has won 20 or more games, and it's the most victories since a 25-11 effort in 2002.
SMU's sweeps of St. Olaf and Augsburg extended their MIAC winning streak to 12 straight.
SMU's sweep of Augsburg also clinched a berth in the MIAC post-season tournament.
The Cardinals' 1-0 Game 2 loss to UW-La Crosse last Thursday snapped their season-high 13-game winning streak.
Mandy Tschernach (Rice Lake, Wis.) belted her first collegiate home run an inside-the-park, grand slam in SMU's 9-1 Game 2 win vs. Augsburg.
Nikki Jung (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) launched a pair of HRs last week the first two of her collegiate career while Jenny Schipp (North St. Paul, Minn.) and Jenni Gutterman (Shoreview, Minn.) belted their first of the season.
Jung now has a team-leading six multiple-RBI games, while Gutterman has a team-best 14 multiple-hit games.
Schipp improved to 15-4 equaling her career high in wins by going 3-0 with a 0.93 ERA in three starts last week. The SMU junior allowed 13 hits in 15 innings, surrendering two ER, while striking out 20.
Megan Wallisch (Loveland, Colo.) tossed her first two collegiate complete games last week, suffering the hard-luck loss vs. UW-L where she allowed just four hits and struck out three before holding Augsburg to an earned run on four hits in SMU's 9-1 Game 2 win.
The Cardinals are now 22-0 when scoring three or more runs.
SMU is also 19-1 when holding its oppoents to two or less runs the lone loss coming to UW-L last Thursday.
SMU has not been beaten when leading after the third inning.
The Cardinals are 6-1 in one-run games.

Bethel Game Notes

Bethel snapped a 10-game losing streak with last Saturdays sweep of St. Olaf.
Rachel Franklin has been the workhorse for the Royals, leading the team offensively with a .357 average (35-for-98) and 15 RBIs, while also boasting a 3.33 ERA in 15 appearances on the mound.
Bethels Game 2 win vs. Saint Marys a year ago was just the fourth Bethel win in 26 meetings between the Cardinals and the Royals.
The Royals have stolen 39 bases this season wiht Lindsay Norman (10) and Rachel Franklin (9) accounting for 19 of them.
Bethel has won just four of 12 home games this season, while going 8-11 away from home.
Bethel is 0-2 in extra-inning games.
Nine of the Royals 19 losses have been by two runs or less.
Bethel has been outscored in every inning but the fourth, where the Royals hold a 23-15 advantage.
