Here it is, my last game, the last time I will pull on that SMU jersey, and the last time I will be in the locker room with my teammates preparing for an MIAC game. I never thought it would creep up as fast as it did, but as the saying goes, “All good things must come to an end.”

First off, I want to thank my parents for always supporting me in everything I do. I want to thank them for giving me the opportunities to play and succeed at something I really love. And although at times it might have been hard, thanks for always being there and being my number one fans.

Mr. Loochi and Benny, I want to thank you guys for everything you have done for me these last three years. I know at times it must have been hard with all the headaches and frustration I must have caused you two, but you never quit on me and always looked out for me — not only as a player, but as something more. And it is because of this that I am not only a better soccer player, but a better teammate, student, and friend. Your doors were always open and you guys would be willing to help in any situation I got myself into. You’re two of the best coaches I have played for and two of the greatest guys I would ever want to be around. Thanks.

Brenty and Jimmy, I want to wish you the best of luck and let you know how much I enjoyed playing with you guys. You always cared, worked, and gave everything you could on and off the field. I can’t think of better guys to end my senior season with. Thanks, boys.

Bobby, I don’t know what to say, because I don’t think words could explain it. You’re all heart, Bob, 110% all the time, day-in and day-out. You’re one of the best teammates and friends I will ever have. You could always make me smile when you walked into the locker room and reminded me somehow of why I love to play so much. I am going to miss playing with you; you’re a great goalie and leader on the field. I hate to have a last game, but if it has to happen, I am glad you’re right there beside me.

Koz, I couldn’t ask for a better friend or roommate. I never have to do anything alone if I don’t want to. You’re nutz, Andy, and could always bring a smile to my face — like the time down Gilmore Hill where you probably had the funniest fall ever, because you rolled, who rolls? Thanks for everything thus far, and don’t you worry because the good times with the Raddogg will keep coming.

Hey, waz up, Bah bah?! Your awesome, Bo, you always know how to have a good time, and you never leave me out. I can’t think of a good time here in Winona where you weren’t right alongside me. You’re one of the best players I have ever played with, and you always made the games and bus rides a little more fun for me. Thanks, bro.

Jason, Brayton, Lardner, JB, and Jake, thanks for leading by example and setting the standard here at SMU. You made us all better people and players. TJ and Mike E, thanks for being our two die-hard fans and always supporting us. It means a lot to me and the team.

To the rest of the team, thanks for giving it your all this season it means a lot to us seniors, and keep working hard this off-season, I’m going to miss all you guys.

Good Luck and Godspeed.
