Tim Bids Farewell
I have been dreading this part of my hockey career for quite some time. As my final competitive hockey season winds down, I cannot help but smile when I think about all the memories that come along with such a great game. I feel very fortunate to have been able to compete at the college level, but most of all, to have been part of the Cardinal hockey tradition.

Hockey would never have been possible without the help and support of my parents, Kevin and Joan. Your dedication to me as a hockey player has been great. You have always been there whenever I needed you. The countless number of games and practices you have attended is remarkable and I have loved having you at all of them. I love you both very much for everything you have done for me and it would be impossible to ever truly repay you.

I would like to thank all of my teammates, both past and present, for all of the great memories. The friendships that are developed on the rink are what help make the game of hockey so great and in the past nineteen years I have been very lucky to have such great teammates. Thanks to all of you!

To the Saint Mary’s coaching staff, thank you for giving me the opportunity to play the game and be part of such a great program. Coach Olson, Hofmann, Bry, Nadeau, Farren, and Mannor thanks for all of the time you put into this program and into all of us as players. All of you are great coaches and I have learned so much from each of you.

Although it is sad to realize that my competitive hockey career is over, it is also great to know that I can look back and have no regrets. This game has shaped who I am as a person and I will be forever grateful for the opportunities, people, and experiences that this game has provided for me. My Saint Mary’s experience has been amazing, and once again thanks to everyone that has been a part of it.
