This award is presented to the player who, through his character, intensity, sportsmanship, quality of play and overall leadership, exemplifies the spirit of the ideal teammate and team leader	This award is presented to the player who is felt to have made the greatest improvement in the effectiveness of his play over the past year.	This award is presented to the first-year player who, through on- ice performance and overall contributions, has had the most positive impact on the 2005-2006 season.	This award is presented to the player who, through his willingness to do "the little things," makes a significant contribution to help his teammates and the hockey program.

2006-07 CAPTAINS

Current Saint Mary's captain Marcus Reszka (right) and assistants Graham Murphy (back) and Tim McNamara (left) passed the captain's torch to Adam Gill and David Gross at the team's end of the year banquet. Gill was voted the team's captain for the upcoming 2006-2007 season, while Gross was selected as the team's assistant captain.
