I am not sure where to start. I have delayed the writing of this letter for as long as possible. The reason for that is because I know that it means my time is almost up. The last four years here at SMU have been unbelievable and if I could, I would do it all over again.

I must start by thanking my coaches for all their hard work and the opportunities they have given me. You have all made my time here very enjoyable. Coach Olson, thank you for the opportunity to wear the Saint Mary’s jersey that I have taken so much pride in wearing. Coach Mannor, wow, where to start? I never thought one of my coaches would have the nickname MC Manner or know all the words to Snoop Dogg. Not to mention the time you helped me do some birthday shopping. Coach F, you are definitely the McGuyver of hockey gear, you can make anything work. Thank you for all of the skate sharpenings and equipment repairs. Coach Nadeau, thank you for everything you have done both on and off the ice. I couldn’t have asked for a more fun coaching staff.

Next, I must thank all of my teammates, both past and present. You have all made my time here unbelievable. Being in the locker room was always fun because it meant I was surrounded by my friends/teammates. I cannot think of a better place to go when you need to clear your head from the stresses of life. You guys are all awesome.

I would like to thank my mom and Forrest for all of the support they have given me throughout the years. You guys have always been there for me whenever I needed you. The countless practices, games, and road trips that you attended is amazing and I loved having you at each one. I must also thank my beautiful girlfriend for all the support she has given me.

Finally, I would like to thank my dad, who has been watching and protecting me from above. I love you all.
