It is hard to imagine two things that have been constant in my life for as long as I can remember, basketball and school, will both be coming to a close very soon. My high school coach always said not to get so caught up in the result or the destination that you forget about the journey. With that in mind, I would like to take this opportunity to give out some much deserved thank-yous. Mom and Dad: The love and support that you both have given me has been phenomenal. Dad, to think that you have only missed a handful of home games the past four years speaks for itself. Ive been so blessed to be able to share this experience with the both of you. Jessica and Lou: Thank-you for all your understanding, encouragement, and support. I couldnt have asked for a better pair of siblings. Coach Beibel: It is hard to imagine weve ben together for nearly one hundred games. Your confidence and trust in me the past four years has been tremendous. Thank-you for helping me grow as a player, and more importantly, a person. Coach Wittman: You taught me more about life than anyone else the past four years. Thank you for bringing me insight, wisdom, encouragement, and guidance. Coach Johnson: Thank-you for bringing me to Saint Marys and giving me a chance to continue playing basketball after high school. Your encouragement, support, and especially that opportunity has been wonderful. Coach Mess and Coach Treptow: Thank-you for all the time and energy youve put into this team. Oh yeah, WSU is way overrated! To my teammates, past and present: The game really doesnt mean much without the people who make it special. Thank you for the great times and great friendships. Those things I will have forever, and I cant begin to say how much that means to me. Finally, the fans: Your support and friendships have been unforgettable. I cant tell you how grateful I am to all of you. Thank-you for being there through the wins and the losses. I also appreciate the encouragement you have given the officials of the MIAC for their outstanding judgment calls the past four years yeah, right! And Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone . |
