Saturday's win over the Auggies the second straight for St. Olaf. … The Oles' 90 points vs. Augsburg were a season high, while Augsburg's 74 points were the most allowed by St. Olaf in a win. … Jon Bain posted his second straight double-double, scoring 18 points — all in the second half — and adding 11 rebounds. Bain now has four double-doubles on the season. … The Oles are 6-5 in the 11 games that Bain has led the squad in rebounds. … Mark Bergstrom (11.0 ppg) and Jon Butala (10.6 ppg) lead the Oles' offensive charge. The Cardinals' win over Hamline was their third straight, marking SMU's first three-game winning streak since winning three in a row from Jan. 21-28, 2004. … Dan Cormier (Blaine, Minn.) collected 10 points and 10 rebounds vs. Hamline for his second straight double-double. Cormier netted a career-high 26 points and added a career-best 14 points vs. Macalester Wednesday for his first collegiate double-double. …  Cormier's effort Wednesday was the fourth 20-plus performance this season for the SMU junior. … Brensley Haywood (Joliet, Ill.) — who started his 45th straight games, dating back to Feb. 12, 2005 — netted 14 points vs. Hamline, marking the fifth straight game in which the SMU senior has scored in double figures. Haywood has scored 10 or more points in 14 of the Cardinals' 18 games. … Brad Knights (Plainfield, Wis.) netted a career-best 18 points in leading SMU to its win vs. Hamline. … The Cardinals' 84 points vs. Hamline were their second-highest offensive output of the season, second only to the 89 points scored vs. the Pipers in their first meeting on Dec. 6. … SMU held Macalester to a season-low 43 points, while the Cardinals' 60 points in Wednesday's win marked the first time this season the Cardinals have scored less than 65 points — and won. … SMU's wins vs. Macalester and Hamline completed a pair of two-game sweeps of the Scots and Pipers, the first time the Cardinals have swept two conference teams since sweeping St. Olaf, Macalester and Concordia during the 1999-2000 season.
