The Cardinals' win over Macalester Wednesday was their second straight marking the second time this seaosn that SMU has won back-to-back games. … SMU will be gunning for its first three-game winning streak since winning three in a row from Jan. 21-28, 2004. … Dan Cormier (Blaine, Minn.) netted a career-high 26 points vs. the Scots Wednesday and posted his first collegiate double-double, adding 14 rebounds. … Cormier's effort Wednesday was the fourth 20-plus performance this season for the SMU junior. … SMU held Macalester to a season-low 43 points, while the Cardianls' 60 points in Wednesday's win marked the first time this season the Cardinals have scored less than 65 points and won. … SMU's win vs. Macalester completed a two-game sweep of the Scots, the Cardinals' first sweep since taking both game vs. Augsburg a year ago. … Brensley Haywood (Joliet, Ill.) who started his 44th straight games, dating back to Feb. 12, 2005 nettted 11 points against the Scots, marking the fourth straight game in which the SMU senior has scored in double figures. Haywood has scored 10 or more points in 13 of the Cardinals' 17 games.

In his previous 60 games, Foster had made just six three-pointers (6-of-29). … Tony Thrasher totaled 30 points for the second time this season when he netted 30 against the Tommies on Wednesday.
