It’s hard to believe that Senior Day has come so quickly. Every year goes by so fast, some faster than others, but time still seems to fly. The four years I spent here, it was fun to win, but what I remember the most was the friendships and memories while playing basketball which I will never forget. There are a number of people who have helped me achieve great things in my basketball career. Without these people many of my basketball accomplishments would have been difficult if not impossible to achieve.
First, I would like to thank my parents and family who have supported me in my eagerness in being a student athlete. Without them I would not be where I am today. I would also thank my coaches I have had throughout my four years starting with Coach Beibel and Coach Lovelace. I would like to thank them both in recruiting me to come to this fine institution. I would also like to thank Coach Trewick for taking me in and allowing me to continue playing basketball for the past three years. All of these head coaches did a great job in giving me an opportunity and teaching the lessons of life to me.
Next, I would like to thank the assistant coaches, from Coach Brandsoy to Coach Jenkins, Kip and Cory. These coaches put a lot of their time and effort whether it is scouting, recruiting, or coaching that may be unnoticed to many. For all your time and effort you have put into this program, I would like to take all you guys.
I would now like to thank my teammates, past and present. From Boremann to the new rookies, we have today, all of you guys have meant a lot to me. We all have gone through some good times together as a team, whether it was on the court or not, and some tough times together as a team. I look forward to watching the younger guys take the court next year and establish what Saint Mary’s University basketball is all about. Good luck to you guys in the future not only with your basketball careers but with whatever you decide in life.
Finally, I would like to thank the Saint Mary’s University community and fans. Your support has been gracious. I would like to give special thanks to the parents and family members who travel long hours to come and watch us play. Your support is truly appreciated.
Hey Number Two, you better recognize that DA BEARS will win Super Bowl XLI. GO BEARS!!!
