SMU's loss at St. John's last Monday was its 37th straight on the Johnnies' home floor.
The Cardinals' setback vs. St. Thomas on Saturday, meanwhile, was their 35th in a row vs. UST.
SMU scored just 66 first-half points in its three games last week, and were outscored 115-66. The Cardinals outscored their opponents 104-100 in the second half.
Dan Kloak (Elmwood Park, Ill.) and Eric Lear (Antioch, Ill.) are the teams' leading scorers, averaging 10.7 ppg and 10.2 ppg, respectively.
