The Bullets opened their season with six straight wins and enter today's games having won eight of their first 10 games. … Gettysburg has already faced a St. Mary's team, beating St. Mary's (Md.) 8-2 and 9-8 in eight innings on March 4. … Anchoring the Bullets' offense is senior captain Joe Bonyai. Bonyai, an All-CC first team selection in 2005 and 2006, returns to the line-up after leading the Bullets in batting average (.397), RBIs (31), triples (3), runs (27), slugging percentage (.486) and on-base percentage (.451) last season. He also set a Gettysburg single-season record with 58 hits in 2006. … During John Campo's 20 years as Gettysburg's coach, the Bullets have racked up 346 wins, an average of more than 17 a year. That record includes five seasons of 20 victories or more, four Middle Atlantic Conference division titles, one Middle Atlantic Conference championship, two trips to the Eastern College Athletic Conference tournament and one trip to the NCAA Division III tournament.
