Last Action: The Cardinals dropped back-to-back games to Concordia on Wednesday, as the Cobbers jumped out to a 9-0 lead en route to a 9-3 Game 1 win, then completed the sweep by getting a two-run, seventh-inning home run from Chris Klabo in Game 2 in a 6-4 win.
St. Olaf, meanwhile, split its third straight DH, falling ot St. Scholastica 2-1 in nine innings in Thursday's opener, then coming back to beat the Saints 4-3 in Game 2.

Kevin Black (Mahtomedi, Minn.) accounted for all three RBIs for the Cardinals in their Game 1 loss, delivering a two-run double in the fifth and a run-scoring single in the seventh.
Brady Knudsen (Racine, Wis.) had his seven-game hitting streak snapped with an 0-for-3 performance in Game 2 vs. Concordia.
The Cardinals 6-4 Game 2 loss marked just the second time in 12 games in which SMU has lost when leading after six innings.
The Cardinals scored a season-high 18 runs and collected a season-best 20 hits including nine for extra bases in their 18-3 rout of Viterbo last Tuesday.
SMU's 18 runs were the most scored since the Cardinals routed Hillside Baptist 21-1 on March 9, 2000.
SMU has now scored 10 runs or more in each of its last five wins.

St. Olaf Game Notes

With St. Olaf's Game 2 win over St. Thomas, coupled with Carleton's sweep of Bethel, St. Olaf reached the MIAC playoffs for the sixth consecutive year.
The Oles and Tommies have made the Tournament since its inception in 2000.
St. Olaf has finished second the first three years, won the title in 2003 and were eliminated in the third round last year.
Pitching has carried the Oles to the playoffs this season. Will Huepenbecker and Dan O'Malley have thrown a combined 12 complete games with 2.28 and 2.95 ERA's.
St. Olaf's 3.63 team ERA leads the MIAC.
