Ups and downs, strikes and gutters. For the past four years it has been a rollercoaster ride for many of us on the baseball field. From going to the MIAC Tournament, to not even making the playoffs. But what I will never forget is the experiences I have had with all of you, both on and off the field. Bowling before games, playing cards during the week, hanging out on Thursdays, playing pool and video games are just some of the traditions that many of us have shared together. These times will always be an integral part of my college experience. I cannot stress enough to you guys how great of a team we have and the chemistry that has evolved over the past four years. I have never played on a team that has been so close to each other and would do anything for a teammate, no matter the situation or consequence. It means a lot to us knowing each one of you are there for us through good times and bad times. Thank you guys very much and I wish you all the best through your future endeavourers.

To all the seniors, it has been a great four years that has past before our eyes. From coming into our freshmen year not really knowing any of you but Rob K., to becoming close friends with all of you. Aric, you have always been a positive role model to me and the rest of the team. I thank you for all the experiences we have shared throughout our four years, especially freshmen year spring break down in Winona. Rob H., I wish I would have become better friends with you earlier in my college career. We have spent some great times getting wings and BS-ing about life itself. Steiger, your humor has always made me laugh, no matter the mood I was in. I wish you luck with your fiancé and baby, especially through the next couple of years. Seth, we have spent many days and many nights together, especially when everybody was out with their wives. Those were some of the best times I have had and I thank you for everything. Rob K., I don’t know where to begin. We have been through a lot throughout our four years that I will always remember, and could not have asked for a better roommate, other than you of course, Bubba. Thank you guys for everything!

Coach Whaley, coach Mollner, and coach Huegel, thank you all for your time and energy in making us better baseball players and people. I know I wasn’t the easiest person to coach all the time, but I feel you all have helped me mature and become a better person. Also, I appreciate the opportunities you guys have given me throughout my four years and wish you all the best.

To all the parents, we all appreciate you guys for supporting us at every game that you could make. The in between and after game snacks was very kind and generous, and speaking on behalf of the team, we thank you all very much.

Lastly, I want to take another minute to express my love for my family. None of this could have happened without you guys. Mom and Dad, I thank you for everything you have done. You have always provided me with the best opportunities to succeed in life. You have also taught me many things about life itself through the experiences I have encountered, especially the bad ones. I am so proud and happy to have you guys as my parents and could not want anything more in life than the love you provide me with. Thank you guys for attending all of my games throughout my life, it means a lot to me. Also, start gearing up for me to move back home with you guys, it could be for awhile. Charlie, our relationship has grown tremendously since I left for college. I could not ask for a better brother and friend through these four years. I thank you for your support and criticism in helping me become a better ballplayer and person. I wish you the best of luck as you move into one of the best times of your life, and hope Gustavus provides you with as good as an experience as Saint Mary’s has provided for me.
